Kaitlyn McDevitt

Class of 2020
Years Active: 2020
Major: English

I was enrolled in the digital humanities course in spring of 2020 where my role was to transcribe Inscapes, research Thorn 1957 and 1961, and work on podcast preparation. I liked digital humanities because it gave me so much more appreciation for Rosemont College and taught me so much about Rosemont that I didn’t know before. I was able to improve my research and teamwork skills.

After graduation, I got a job working for American Executive Centers in Radnor as an Administrative Assistant. For this company, I handle all administrative responsibilities for my branch, and I specialize in writing and social media, helping different companies with their writing/ social media/ marketing needs. I am currently living in Philadelphia with my roommate, and best friend from Rosemont College. I am attending Saint Joseph’s University for my master’s degree in Writing Studies.

My goal is to work for Philadelphia Magazine or any big publishing company. I also will write my book all throughout graduate school. I want to write a self-help book for young adults.

I want to thank Professor Katherine Baker and Professor Michelle Moravec for providing me with the opportunity to work on such an amazing project. I also want to thank my incredible team, Amanda, Bel, and Sam for being so supportive every step of the way and for making this such an amazing and fun experience.”
